Holloway 50th

We celebrated Eric's Grandparent's 50th Anniversary on Saturday. Eric made their cake, it was a white cake with the top tier raspberry filling and the bottom tier peach filling. He also made the red hearts on the top of the cake. They are made out of sugar with a light dusting of gold dust. (He said he could do better yet he just did not have the time). Not bad at all I thought for the first time trying to make a sugar sculpture at home.

Take as Long as You Like!

Eric told me to come to the bathroom the other night and he opened the door and this is what I found. Then he said "Take as long as you like" and shut me in there!

Ok, yes it was really sweet but I must tell you our little secret! I heard a great idea on the radio a few months ago where a couple wrote out a note card for each week of the year. You would write something you want the other to do for you. So we started this a few weeks ago. And we try to surprise each other with the card we picked for that week. Eric just happened to pick, draw me a bubble bath and leave me! (As least thats what I think he said he might not have picked that card).

We decided we could only have one expensive card (not every expensive...but it is for us!), 2 semi expensive card, 4 cheap cards and the rest must be free. We can have as many of the same notecards as we want too, they are what we want. I have things like make the list of meals for the week, clean the kitchen, take the kids out for a few hours, back massages. Its been nice! I have found it interesting we have been doing these for each other a lot more than we use to.

Thought I would share this with you guys!

Bumbo

Lillian loves to sit up and the other night she felt asleep in her Bumbo after her bath. It was too cute not to take a picture....in fact it was Eric that took the picture!

3 Months Old

Lillian has been 3 Months for a few days now. But I wanted to wait on posting because we have more information on this little girl. She current weight is 13 pounds 14 ounces and she is 23 1/2 inches long. So she is a big girl!

We have been having troubles with her for awhile now...ok since birth really. She stopped nursing at only 2 weeks!?!?! Doctors thought it was Acid Reflex and she has been on two different medications for it. She spits up so much we are not sure how is gaining weight. She started spiting up brown specs in her spit up. They also thought she was allergic to milk and soy and so far skin tests came back negative yet we have not heard back on the blood tests (we are guessing negative though). She has been on normal formula, spit-up formula, soy formula, colic formula, hypoallergenic formula and amino acid formula. She was the best on the amino acid formula but just not good enough to change it.

So today we had to go see a Pediatric Gastroenterologist which he wants to run a test at the hospital to see what her orgians look like. He also stopped her acid reflex medication saying it could be having the opposite effect on her. And he also increased the amount of rice cereal to put in her formula, to 1 tsp per ounce of formula (that is to try to keep the food down).

Lillian does have her sweet moments where she smiles but most of the time she is not the happiest. We are working on it!

Nap Time

Well nap time is not really nap time anymore. Aiden loves to climb into Lillian's crib.

After I thought Aiden had long fell asleep I heard some noises so I had to go check it out and this is what I found.

Climbing

Yesterday I finished cleaning the bathroom and left to go clean the other one and I looked and thought to myself I know I turned the light off and this is what I found when I walked into the bathroom.
Oh yeah, the water was running too!

Aiden loves to climb up the changing table to look out the window and gets mad when Lillian is up there because he can not really get up there.
