Lily turns 2

This girl has grown and changed so much! She does not look like the same girl that was born 2 years ago. I mean for one she went from black hair to blonde.
She is so sweet, she loves to play mommy and play dress up. This girl would change clothes every 5 minutes if I let her. She is my cautious child but that does not mean clam! She loves to read books and she love to play with Aiden. I love this little girl and I can't imagine life with out her! Happy Birthday Lily-Bug!

Quick Trip

We took a quick trip to Washington for Eric's Uncle Wallace's Funeral. It was nice to finally see the farm Eric spent almost all of his summers as he grew up. It was his grandparent's farm. There was tons of family around...lets just say the bushman side is huge (Eric has 53 cousins on that side alone, I have 8 total on both sides and that includes 2 that are just through marriage)

Well for those that don't know Eric has been doing a lot of cakes on the side and I have been taking the pictures of them so he can put them on his website. The other day Aiden came up to me and said "Take a picture of my cake" and held up his plastic little people wedding cake. So I did it for him, he was so excited!

Taryn's Family: Part Three

The next day we went to the Zoo! We spent a good chunk of the day there.

After going to Tiny Town we headed down to Colorado Springs. We first went to the Garden of the Gods and I got to take my Cousin's Senior Pictures! They turned out great!. After that we went to Manitou Springs and had dinner and walked around.

My family from Michigan came to visit us and play for a week. Our visitors where...My Mom, Step Dad, Grandma, Aunt and Cousin. They arrived on Saturday in the early evening.

On Monday we went to Tiny Town, it was a fun time!

The other day while Lily was taking a nap, Aiden wanted to play outside and Eric wanted to get out the water balloons to see what Aiden would do. Well he had a blast. Here are some cool pictures of Aiden eating the balloons.

Feeling Better

Things have drastically changed since my last post. I got a lot worse to the point of calling the doctor at 11PM on Saturday night wondering if I needed to go to the ER. But I did not have to go...it was all normal and he said I would most likely pass it in 12 hours for the amount I was bleeding and the pain. He describe the pain so well, he said a few notches down from childbirth and a few notches up from your worst period ever. He ended up being only a few hours short from when I did pass it. And after that I felt a lot better. Bleeding became less and I passed the placenta Wednesday night and bleeding completely stopped.

I had my check up on Thursday and they did an ultrasound to make sure all was gone and it was. Now I just need to not be dizzy and I will feel normal again!

Miscarriage

We found out yesterday that we had a miscarriage after 9 weeks. I started to bleed on Wednesday and the nurse told me to see if it stopped. I called on Thursday telling them I was still bleeding and I was having cramps to the point of nausea and they told me to come in. My Doctor did my ultrasound to find no heartbeat and it was smaller than just a week and a half ago.

My Doctor is giving me until Thursday to pass the sack and if I don't he will either give me medication that will make me within 48 hours or have surgery right then.

Eric's parents came out for the week and it was nice to visit. They helped us finish up our backyard (pictures to come). And of course I only got pictures of them on the last day they were here.

On Tuesday Eric had a day off from work and we got to spend time with him. And he got to finally hang out with his parents that came out from Seattle to see us.

Aiden has wanted a Lightening McQueen cake for months now. Eric made the cake but I decorated it. After I finished decorating the cake I ran upstairs to get my camera and I came back down to find Aiden had taken McQueen for a drive on the road...I was happy it was fixable!

Birthday at the Zoo

On Aiden's birthday we went to the Zoo. The zoo was packed to the point of walking .7 miles to the main gate. But once we were in the Zoo it was a lot of fun. We went on the Train.

Camping

A few weeks ago we went camping as a family. Eric and Aiden had planned on going on the father's and son's camp out but it was canceled due to the weather. So the following Monday we went as a family since we had all the food prepped anyways.

We ended up coming home in the middle of the night because it was way to windy and no one could sleep. But over all it was fun!

Final Project

This is my final project for my Digital Photography Class. The project was on simplicity and emotion. I took pictures of this one tree for a few days at different times of day. The darker pictures are the same picture next to the original only the mid-tones are darkened in photoshop (levels and move mid-tone bar almost to the darkest point) and that was the only tweaking I did. The idea behind it was life is really not always how we see it.

Easter Egg Hunt

Aiden had a blast at their first Easter egg hunt. Aiden caught on fast and wanted to do it over and over again. And Lily just felt really overwhelmed! She started to cry when we saw 3 eggs and she did not know which one she wanted to go to first...it was too cute! Lily was in a short sleeve dress and she got cold so Grandma Holloway gave her a sweatshirt to wear.

Egg Dying

The night before Easter we colored eggs. The kids were funny about it. Lily just wanted to smash them and Aiden just wanted them in one color. Last year he had to put each egg in every color.
